TONYMOLY Megatox Bright Shot Ampoule Mask is rocking it with the fun syringe-like packaging. Some may fin it convenient to store, others not. I’m quite tolerant towards unique outer shell but of coarse my goal here is to go more in depth about the contents of this Megatox Bright Shot Ampoule Mask.
Claims from the manufacturer:
Give your skin a shot of hydration with our Megatox Ampoule Mask! Just one shot will help to boost skin to the next level with our microcell sheet soaked in highly concentrated dermatologist-grade ampoule.
Brightens the skin and combats dark spots with Glutathione, an antioxidant that rids the skin of free radicals and toxins that can lead to hyper-pigmentation.
Directions from the manufacturer:
Peel back the back of the packaging and unroll the sheet mask. Adhere the mask over the face and wait 15-20 mins for the ampoule to completely absorb into the skin. Remove the mask and pat the remaining ampoule into the skin.

My experience:
First of all the ingredients list threw me off by a mile. Original retailer information states all of the ingredients in different order. On the back of the pack the order is according to the EU standards but still there are six (last on the list) ingredients that repeat themselves. Not a promising start for a company pushing the ampoule shots for 7-9€ a pop.
The mask is rolled up in a plastic capsule in shape of a syringe. Very interesting concept but unfortunately not new. In my opinion it is handy for travel, yet not handy for storing at home in my mask box. Once the packaging is open you see that the sheet is almost translucent and the ampoule is filled to the brim with the fluid. Rolling out the mask and application can be troublesome as the sheet is very thin. What I do not like is that despite the light and airy sheet it was not shaping to my face much. Usually you would be able to pull a bit here, tuck a bit there and the adherence would be perfect. To my disappointment it is not the case here.
The essence smells like a baby-powder. Fragrance of it has a medium potency. I could smell it throughout the entire wearing time but it was not an unpleasant scent. After 20 minutes I removed the mask and saw and felt that my face was plumped up. My skin is well hydrated and has a nice sheen to it though. After the essence has absorbed, I am left with no residue or tackiness on my skin. I would still not use this mask in the morning as it is an ampoule product which tends to work better overnight.
The greatest disappointment of the days was that I’ve gotten zero brightening on my skin. It also caused some milia type breakouts on my cheeks that have developed overnight. If you are looking for a good mask that will even out your skin tone and make your skin glow from within, this is not a product for you. If you are looking for a good hydration, you may consider trying this one out. Oh, almost forgot, one more thing – the syringe shape container is not the most handy shape when you are trying to extract the remaining essence. I’ve had some difficulties and ended up throwing half of what’s left away because I didn’t plan to scoop all the nooks and crannies of the container.
Pros:
+ Soothing and hydrating on my skin
+ Soft mask sheet
+ Good fit to my face frame
+ Rich in nourishing ingredients
+ Light inoffensive scent
Cons:
– Expencive for EU customers
– Hard to get the remaining essence out of the plastic container
– Sheet fabric is not flexible, hence lifts a lot around the nose
– Don’t see much brightening happening on my skin
– Contains fragrance
– Caused a break-out on my skin
