It took me a while to write this post because I was super busy preparing for my daughter’s birthday. But here we go! My experience:
The Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule is a wonderful product if your skin needs extra moisture. What stuns me the most is how good it is at calming the redness of my skin. My skin feels smooth to the touch and is very supple thanks to this wonderful ampoule.
A lot of people compare it to the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Sychronized recovery complex II. I personally think that MISSHA’s creation is way better than the one made by Estée Lauder. Virtually consistency and color wise they are identical. Ingredient wise MISSHA trumps the EL serum in trifold. That is also noticeable by my skin.
I apply this serum before going to bed. That way it stays put on my skin for several hours and when I wake up my skin is feeling and looking amazing! I do notice a big difference when I sometimes skip it in my evening routine. I Sometimes mix it with my emulsion if it it very hot outside. That gives me a little bit more oomph for during the day and my skin doesn’t feel dry by the end of the day.
Overall this is an amazing skin care product and does wonders for my skin in terms of brightening and evening my skin tone, reducing redness, smoothing out the rough patches of skin that I sometimes get in the winter. On top of that it makes my skin as firm as it gets when you hit your 30’s. It is a total “love, love, love” product of mine. I do have one issue with it. The applicator pipette is smaller than in the EL serum and I need to use 1,5 pumps of this serum to cover my entire face. I would appreciate it a lot if the packaging would be updated.
Pros:
+ Better alternative for more expensive EL’s Advanced Night Repair serum
+ Paraben, sulfate and alcohol free formula
+ Contains skin brightening, anti-ageing, acne fighting, wound healing ingredients
+ Lovely consistency that spreads out evenly
+ Light pleasant natural fragrance
Cons:
– Pipette picks up little product, a bigger size would be nicer. A pump would be even better!
– Packaging looks outdated
