My experience:
Commleaf Vitarice Essence Water is one of the newest product’s I’ve invested into in the course of last weeks. Now I’ve finally made some more room in my skincare, hence, the late review on it. Anyhow, I’m proud to showcase such a wonderful product today. Let me first start with the “Oh my God! Have you seen he packaging?” Of course you did, stunning right? No matter whether it is sunny or rainy outside, the bottle manages to catch the light and my attention. I am actually considering keeping the bottle after I use the product that’s how much I like it.
It was the love at first sight and at the first swatch! The essence water is quite thick and viscous yet has a beautiful slip to it. If you look closely, you will see all the tiny bubbles in the liquid. They do not move inside the fluid and just sit there like balloons hanging in the air. That’s how thick this product is! And the smell! Strong, floral, luxurious. I can’t explain the occurrence of it since there is no fragrance added to the mixture but it is so good. It smells like a bouquet of pink flowers with peonies, roses and gardenia. I am a sucker for floral scents and I would wear this as a perfume if Commleaf would ever come up with one ?
The one downside of the packaging and the formulation is that the pinhole dispenser is on a smaller side making it very difficult to extract this product. I am considering removing the pinhole closure entirely so that the product would flow well out of the glass container. It freaks me out to shake this bottle like a mad mad as I am quite afraid I’ll break it because I am somewhat clumsy. For the rest, no negative aspects to report. The rest is pure goodness.
Absorption time of the essence water is fast. It sits on the skin for 10-20 seconds and then starts to rapidly sink into my skin. Very weird experience at first but I love it. At one second it is there and then “whoop” gone. I use only one layer of it in the AM routine as it is soo hydrating. In the PM I allow myself to do 2-3 layers and then my skin says “thank you, that’s enough”. I would not recommend this product for 7 skin method for oily skin as the product is so rich. If you have a Sahara dry situation going on, please do use 3-5 layers and see your skin transforming. I would recommend this water essence to every skin type.
