My experience:
d'Alba White Truffle First Spray Serum is my go to product that I use at work. Because I have to spend a lot of time in the gym with an airco, my skin suffers from tightness a lot. Once it feels dehydrated, my sebaceous glands go crazy and I end up having oily face in 2 hours time. To me this serum is a great tool to keep my oiliness at bay even though it contains oil. You can actually see the top yellow layer is the oil. Once you shake the bottle it gets mixed with the rest of nutritious goodness and you are good to go for another couple of hours without shining like a disco-ball.
My current bottle has 50 ml of mist serum in it and it is plenty to keep me busy for two months. Once I run out of it, I'll go back to my full-size bottle. It is quite sad that the largest bottle is only 100 ml and comes with a hefty price but it is worth it. Somehow it works wonders for my skin and I don't want to ruin the mystery so I keep using it and loving it, so does my skin.
The scent is very potent though. It smells of citrus fruits and bergamot? the good thing is that I am a big fan of all those lemony and zesty fragrances so to me it is an extra energizing boost. Let's talk quantity. You ned 2-4 sprays at a time. If you reapply it 3 x a day you'd still be using it sparingly as the fine mist which comes out of the bottle is very fine and layers evenly on the skin. Product absorbs nearly instantly. You do get a bit of glow during first 10 minutes but afterwards, when oil gets absorbed by the skin, the finish is much more subtle.
d'Alba is well known for their use of truffle oil and to be honest, I'm dying to try out their other products in full-size. I have had samples of the no sebum line and their creams and I am waiting for their products to go on sale somewhere so I could treat myself with skin yummies 😉 Don't be afraid of getting this product if your skin is oily. On the contrary, such balanced product may actually reduce your skin oiliness like it does with mine. Apply it after skin peeling and you'll experience major difference in how soft your skin will get.
