GLOWHILL Xenoverse Black Glow Mask is a black glittery peel-off mask which is supposed to remove dead skin debris and freshen up the skin. It meets it's claims on my skin leaving me with a smooth canvas. One little remark though, due to the thickness of the product you may get max 5 full face applications.

My experience:
GLOWHILL Xenoverse Black Glow Mask is not something new out of this world. It seems to me like the brand is just following tendencies of rainbow glitter-unicorn shimmer tendencies observed in skincare in the past year. Even though it looks a bit cheesy, the experience is fun non the less.
This particular Xenoverse mask is one of the two available peel-off masks by GLOWHILL. It has a very thick consistency yet it spreads over the face quite well. I’ve tried masks more liquid in formula and same goes for more thicker consistencies. Xenoverse falls somewhere in the middle. The drying time is longer than advertised and longer than average peel off mask. I presume it is caused by more chunky glitter that prevents product from dying at a faster rate. Since this mask contains charcoal, it is not a surprise that the mask is opaque black with bunch of grinded glitter/shimmer in it. Overall look of it is quite pretty once it is applied on the face.
As I’ve mentioned, the drying time is somewhat longer. It took 25 minutes for the medium-thick layer to be entirely dry. The good thing about this mask that it comes off in 1 piece. I love when it happens. There is a little tugging present, particularly on my peach fuzzed areas of the face. It was not painful to remove the mask and I could call it mildly irritating. There is some redness present immediately after the removal but it subsides in 10 minutes or so. My skin was left smooth and my pores were close to invisible. That happens a lot to me when I use charcoal masks in particular.
I was very happy with the results and would recommend this mask for someone who can’t live without their peel-off masks. My skin looked more tight, almost lifted and that was something I didn’t expect from this mask. Always a nice bonus. I will try the Aurora version soon so stay tuned for new reviews from GLOWHILL. Almost forgot, I bought both masks when they were on a 50% off promotion from Stylekorean.
