Hiddencos Americano Mask Sheet falls into the mediocre range of sheet masks that I’ve tried in 2018. I did not like nor disliked it. Overall a very weird mask due to the brown colored essence that smells like fake coffee.
Claims from the manufacturer:
The Hiddencos Americano Mask is a dual functional mask that provides abundant moisture and nutrition for the tired and dehydrated skin.
Contains many beneficial ingredients such as Green Tea extract, Portulaca extract, the Premium Arabica Coffee Extract from Colombia and various natural ingredients that helps to soften, moisturize and relax the skin.
The patented Phyto Oligo ingredient fills the skin with moisture to protect and maintain smooth and perfect skin.
Directions from the manufacturer:
After cleansing, apply the mask evenly across the face. Leave the mask for 20-30 minutes and remove it in an upward direction. Lightly pat the remaining essence on the face to completely absorb it.

My experience:
Hiddencos Americano Mask Sheet did not impress me and I am glad I got one sheet to test out before getting the box of ten at a bargain price. The mask packaging is very attractive and fits my personality of coffe-maniac 100%. Unfortunately it was very mediocre in use.
The sheet of this mask is made of the same material as in my favorite sheet masks by Blithe. The essence is light brown and transparent and has almost gel-like texture. The color is quite vivid and I was concerned that I will be left with a brown face. Luckily this didn’t happen. Essence is highly perfumed and smells like coffee. In no means the scent is natural. To my nose it is very chemical and artificial and it stays on your face even after mask is removed.
Once the mask is on the face it remains intact through-ought the masking process. I kept it on for 10 minutes because I could not tolerate the scent anymore. You can actually keep it on for full 20 minutes and it will remain moist. My skin was feeling hydrated but could use some more moisture. My face was quite puffy before application and I did notice a big change in terms of de-puffing it. My contours were definitely sharper and the areas underneath my eyes did shrink visibly. The gel essence took about 10 minutes to absorb leaving me with shiny and somewhat tacky finish. I ended up rinsing my face in couple of hours, again because of the scent that was lingering on my skin.
If you like coffee and are looking for a de-puffing, cooling mask, definitely try this one out. If you hate artificial scents as much as I do, pass on the Hiddencos Americano Mask. People with the sensitive skin should probably also avoid this one. I would like to see this mask reformulated in the future and the fragrance taken out of it. If that would happen I would repurchase this one again ?
