My experience:
Innisfree It’s Real Squeeze Mask Manuka Honey sheet mask resembles the Green tea mask from the same line. I like how it feels on my skin. The sheet is made of felt-type fabric and is quite absorbing despite it’s thinness. The downside of such sheet is that it may tear easily when yo try to stretch it over the face. The essence in this mask is lightly scented of fresh flowers and honey and is transparent in color. The texture is more like a light gel rather than watery essence such as in other masks from the same line. It is not sticky nor oily either which is a great bonus.
Another downside of this mask for me is the fit of the sheet. No surprise there, the entire series is cut in the same factory and just doesn’t suit my face much. This time I did something different and created vertical folds on my face and it did help a bit to reduce the nose tent situation. You can actually see the true fit on the picture below. I kept it on for 15 minutes and tapped in the residue. Normal wearing time with these sheet masks is max 20 minutes. On hotter days it is noticeably shorter and the maximum wear time is around 15 minutes.
It is very light sheet mask that leaves no residue on the skin. The essence sinks into my skin within 5 minutes and there is zero trace of it left on the surface. Very good news for me as I can use it prior to doing my make-up. The mask provided me with proper hydration which I like a lot. If you are looking for something that is light and hydrating for basic daily use, get few of the masks from It’s Real Squeeze Mask series to begin with. I love to use them on hot summer days. I know that brand has reformulated this line and new one is called My Real Squeeze Mask. There is also change of the packaging that is more aesthetically appealing to me.
I did test out the current entire range from Innisfree and Manuka Honey mask is a good choice for beginners. If you want to soothe and cool down your face, place it in the fridge 20 min before application and you will benefit from extra refreshment on your skin. It is definitely a great travel companion as the packaging is smaller than with normal sheet masks and it fits into the carry on pouch with liquids so that you could use it during the flight.
P.S.: You can get the entire test set of the newly revised masks from StyleKorean for 13 USD (currently on sale)!!! I am planning to do so in nearest future when I finish reviewing all original ones so I can compare old versus new edition on my blog. Stay tuned for more Innisfree reviews.
