Make P:rem Layering Me Firming Mask has a unique concept of using two separate sheet maks in one treatment. I like the idea but unfortunately performance is not entirely to the point. There are few good points about these masks and, unfortunately, there are several one which throw me off as a consumer.
Claims from the manufacturer:
Make P:rem Layering Me Firming Mask is a two layer sheet mask created for a complete facial treatment
First step, firming mask, is infused with medicinal plants and powerful anti-aging ingredients which target dark spots and addresses wrinkles
Second step, hydrating mask, seals the first one and envelops the skin with complementary ingredients such as antioxidants while providing intense hydration
Promotes lustre and visibly firms skin
Directions from the manufacturer:
Apply the step 1 on clean and dry skin, taking care to leave as few folds and bubbles as possible. Apply the step 2 over step 1 by hooking the holes around the ears. By this gesture, the chin and the neck are covered by the mask. Leave on for 30 minutes, then remove. Massage the remaining serum onto the skin until absorbed. Do not rinse.

My experience:
Make P:rem Layering Me Firming Mask is a blessing and disappointment in one. I could never believe I'd say something like this about a sheet mask, but those are the only words that are ready to roll off my tongue today. I am in love with the concept by applying two sheet masks which complement each other in order to increase the permeability of the ingredients into the skin. The quality of the materials used is impeccable.
Both masks apply with ease and have amazing fit and adherence. The first layer has no cutouts on the sides so it may crease on people with more narrow face frame. The second mask is made of more thick fabric which is similar to one used by MIZON, HYGGEE and MEDIHEAL. This mask has cutouts for ears in addition to the chin/neck piece with similar ear flaps. Overall, the second mask is more dense but remains as soft as the first step.
When it comes to the essences, the first step mask essence is more liquid and has a light floral fragrance. It is a bit runny and has little drooping. going on. As soon as you apply the second step, drooping subsides and you are good to go for 30 minutes of running errands or chilling with a book. As for the essence, second step essence is more viscous and less translucent than the first step. It has more tacky feel to it and it remains on the sheet mask without causing any accidental drip. Big downside of the second sheet mask is that when you pull it over the ears it lifts up the first layer and the first mask is peeled off the skin in area around the nose and eyes. In order to hold everything in place I had to wear my glasses through-ought the entire 30 minutes of wear.
What is my biggest disappointment with this Make P:rem Layering Me Firming Mask is the amount of alcohol that is added into the essence of the second sheet mask. No fragrance in the world could mask that. Instead of having a relaxing experience I was left with the alcohol smell that I personally don't tolerate too well. Why so much??? No clue. You can literally feel the skin cooling off due to evaporation of the alcohol making it very uncomfortable after 20 minutes of wear.
Eventually, I removed the mask after advised 30 minutes and I was glad I did. My skin was looking for some air and wanted something soothing to be applied. The remaining essence has absorbed into my skin within 2 minutes and I was left with lightly tacky finish. Pores were visibly smaller and my skin was plumped and hydrated to the brim. I did like the end result but the wearing process which is usually relax moment for me was not relaxing at all. I would recommend this mask for people with normal/combination skin. Do not use it on a daily basis though. In case your skin is sensitive or you have any skin conditions such as rosacea or eczema, steer clear guys! Is this mask worth it's price? No. Is the concept worth looking into? Definitely yes. Would I buy it again? No, despite the good performance on my skin.
