My experience:
First of all lets talk about the packaging! Lovely and practical, just the way I like it. The tub of this mask has whooping 200 ml in it! It looks like a yoghurt pack except the cap on it is a screw-off instead of being a thin plastic sheet. All this is wrapped into paper with the instructions on the bottom.
Once you open the jar you’ll see a white thick gel that becomes transparent after application onto the face. I needed a large spoon to cover my entire face in a thick even coat. The scent of this gel reminds me of condensed milk. It is very mild and inoffensive.
The instructions say to leave it on for 5 minutes and then to rinse it off. I was struggling a lot with the wash-off part. The mask was so dense that water just glided off it. After some more fighting with it I took a wash cloth and removed the majority of the mask off my face and then proceeded to the rinsing phase. It worked much better!
My face was left smooth and soft and my deep wrinkles on the forehead were less deep. this effect has lasted me for approximately half a day and I did enjoy the fact that my face was nearly wrinkle-free. The hydrating power was excellent! My skin felt moisturized for an entire day. I didn’t need to apply any moisturizer after this dessert pack.
To sum up: I had my ups and downs with this Mellow Dessert Pack but in the end I am always left with the plumped and hydrated skin. I do recommend using it in the bath because washing it. off can sometimes be difficult. Using it in a bath ritual works for me! So definitely try it ?
