This is the part 3 of the MISSHA embo-gel series that I am currently reviewing. It consists of 5 hydrogel masks that are very affordable and so far working great on my skin! Today’s mask of the day is the Relaxing-Bomb mask. I chose it today because my face has burned in the sun because I was running kids party outside and forgot to slap on my sunscreen ?
Claims from the manufacturer:
Gel Masks with embossed surface for an extra of aktive essence!
Special care for their dry and fatigued skin.
No mesh type of transparent hydro gel is adhered to the skin without irritating and delivers active substances perfectly into your skin.
Containing Relaxing Complex which consists of Aloe Vera Extract, Pinus Densiflora Leaf Extract and Chamomile Extract for soothing the skin.
Directions from the manufacturer:
After washing the face, prepare the skin with toner. Remove films from the both side of sheets after opening the pouch. Placing the embo side onto the skin, spread evenly the upper part from the eyes and the lower part from the lips. Leave it for 20-40 minutes and remove masks. Pat leftover essence lightly to be fully absorbed.

My experience:
So far this mask is my nr. 1 favorite from three that i’ve tried. Since I have 2 more to go , at the end of the 5th post I will put them in the order from 1 to 5 according to my personal preference and based on how they worked for me.
The mask itself is translucent and has one side that is smooth and the other side is ribbed or as they say – embossed. Each mask from this series is made of the same material. I took the mask out of it’s pack and removed the safety film preventing the folded sides of the mask from sticking to one another. This mask has the loveliest fresh herbal scent to it that is very calming due to the added note of lavender!
I applied both halves of the mask with the embossed side onto my face and let it do it’s magic. I kept the sheet on for half an hour and was enjoying every minute of it. By the end of the wearing time my skin was cooled down and didn’t feel irritated anymore. After removing the mask my face was yet again super-smooth and well hydrated and what amazed me the most, all of my redness was gone! “Wawaweewa very nice!” as Borat used to say ?
A quick sum up: There was no sticky residue left on my skin, same as with other 2 masks. This mask has impressed me with a capital letter I. The biggest result for me was that it tremendously reduced the red hue of my sun-burnt face and left it cool for hours!
Pros:
+ Paraben, sulfate and alcohol free formula
+ Extremely good fit due to 2 parts of the mask
+ Remarkable adherence to the face-no need to lay down with this one, it adheres better to the face the longer it’s on
+ Hydrating and extreme soothing effect on my skin
+ Excellent at reducing redness of the skin
+ No sticky residue left after removing the mask
+ Superb scent even though fragrance is the last ingredient on the list
Cons:
– Still more pricy than the regular cotton/bamboo sheet mask
– Contains fragrance if you are sensitive to it
