My experience:
MISSHA Super Aqua Oil Clear Gel Cream has been in my arsenal in both versions that it exists. Frankly, the main difference between two is not the formula but the packaging and the size. I love the original one because it carries 80 ml of cream inside. New updated jar is now 70 ml. Booooo for downsizing something this good! On the other hand the latter version has more pleasant packaging. It is made of plastic so it won't shatter into pieces if you drop it by the accident.
The price tag is fair, considering you are getting a lot of product. The manufacturer recommends using it day and night but I disagree. There are a lot of silicone added into the mix for the mattifying/blurring effect and that won't work for acne prone skin in PM routines as it will simply jam up your pores leading to breakouts. For AM use it is perfect! If you tend to get oily fast, try this baby out and enjoy oil free day. I don't know how the magic is done, but it works great.
The texture of the cream is very light. In the jar it looks like a regular cream but once it comes in contact with skin it gets very watery and melts effortlessly leaving zero residue behind. Substance is opaque and off-white in color and smells fresh. The scent is quite strong and is unisex. Men with oily skin, pay attention here. You will not smell like lotus blossoms and poppy fields if you use this cream 🙂 Thanks to the fast absorption it would be perfect for those who don't like to wait between rounds of skin care. Being busy bee myself I can slam it on my face, walk down the stairs and by the time I am in my living room it is all absorbed.
Don't expect massive anti-aging and lifting from the product that will never do that for the skin. Main aim of this cream is to minimize your pores, blur out the texture of the skin while keeping it moisturized. It does all of the above! I like that it is very effective and does the job even when it is hot and humid outside. It doesn’t feel heavy or make me feel sweaty through-ought the day. Oil regulation is excellent and overall, I'd say that teenage skin would love this product a lot.
