My experience:
I love the packaging of this cleanser. It has the press-down pump system that dispenses the cleansing liquid straight onto my cotton pad. Cleansing liquid is clear and has a slight marine/beach-like fragrance to it. The scent is not offensive or strong. It doesn’t stay on my face after my make-up is gone.
After pushing the press-down pump 2-3 times my cotton pad has always enough liquid to cleanse my entire face including removing my eye make up. To compare, with my Lancaster Express Cleanser I usually use 3-4 pumps of the product for the same make-up surface.
Back to the strange part. After my make-up is wiped off I am left with what feels oily texture on my skin (it happened to me before with other products and I always had to wash my face with a foamy cleanser afterwards to achieve the “clean clean” face because the oil film remain on my face). This time the oiliness has disappeared completely within 15 minutes and I was left with very smooth and hydrated face.
I don’t know what ingredients caused this effect on me but I do like it. It feels like this cleanser, past it’s “oily feel” phase is a toner and a very good one. I have experimented with this on the days when my skin was red and dry and I was surprised at how good it was at calming it down and at hydrating something that felt initially like papyrys! I didn’t make up my mind whether I will repurchase it or not, but something inside me tells me that I most probably will.
