MIZON Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel is a very decent product for it’s price. Beware though! It does contain several aggravating ingredients so people who have a sensitive skin should be careful while using it. Anyone else would probably admire it as much as I do.
Claims from the manufacturer:
This ultra-gentle exfoliating gel rids the skin of dead skin cells and dirt without harsh chemicals or skin-irritating microbeads. We see why this has received so much love in Korea.
Natural papaya extract contains papain which “digests” dead and/or damaged skin tissue while leaving new, healthy tissue intact for incredibly easy and effective exfoliation
Apple extract contains natural alpha hydroxy acids which further contributes to gentle exfoliation for smoother, brighter skin. Apple is also astringent, tightening pores and helping to clear acne-causing agents
Citrus extracts brighten skin to make it clearer and more radiant
Directions from the manufacturer:
Use 2-3 times weekly. Wash face, dry face and leave the gel on for 1-2 minutes. Gently massage the gel on the face and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Concentrate the product on dry flakes and pores to buff skin to a smooth finish.

My experience:
I’ve got a confession to make. I barely use my peeling creams and gels. I never had found one that would satisfy my nose and my wallet untill I’ve met the MIZON brand product. It is very comparable to the peeling gel from Secret Key but I’m not a big fan of it’s scent. MIZON apple fragrance (which is added into the product) is not strong and reminds me of juicy green apples. You only need a little of the product to cover up your entire face if you don’t exfoliate any other areas of your body. In my case, what you see on the picture is the amount for my face, neck, décolleté and elbows (yes, got rough skin the and this stuff works wonders on dry patches).
As with every peeling gel, it is fairly simple in use. I like to leave it on for 5 minutes before actually starting to rub. Out f experience with other similar products, it loosens up the dead skin cells more productively and I don’t need to roll the gel around my face (and body) for too long. I tend to use this peeling right before I hop into the shower. In that way I don’t neet to meddle around my sink an can wash the product debris off within seconds.
The gel feels very gentle on the skin. I am surprised at each time I use it because of how effective it is. Thisproduct certainly meets it’s claims. My skin is left soft and supple after use. It doesn’t scream for moisture after I walk out of the shower. I proceed with my skin care and apply a toner and a hydrating mask afterwards to rebalance my skin. Is it the best of the bunch? I could say it is, at least from the ones I got to try out so far.
I do prefer MIZON Apple Smoothie Peeling Gel over Secret key and PY only due to the fact that it has a pleasant smell to it. For the rest, my MISSHA Super Aqua Oxygen Micro Visible Deep Cleanser peeling does a tiny bit better job at nourishing and hydrating my skin. Pore cleansing results are very pleasant though! See below for yourself how my skin gets transformed from looking "Yikes" to "Clean". Anyone with non-sensitive skin would love it. If your skin is very sensitive and reacts to everything with redness. be very careful with the placement. If you need to peel the T-zone, apply it only there and no further. Overall, big thumbs up.

This is my all time favourite product. However, I can only buy online since MECCA stopped stocking it in Australia. Cannot live without it, and must have repurchased about a dozen times. It’s a must have post acne, to tidy up flaky skin. If I run out I panic. LOVE it! The snail cleanser by MIZON is also quite brilliant. Super deep cleanse without irritation or drying. Perfect for troublesome, more mature skin.
