My experience:
To be honest I bought this mask for the purpose of testing something new out. I was 90% sure that it would be a 1 time deal for me. Being almost a “hater” of all the products containing honey, propolis etc, I was veeery skeptical about this mask. Nothing related to honey is ever working well on my skin and I am left with a tacky mess I have to wash off in the end. I was so wrong judging this gorgeous thing by it’s cover!
The packaging on this mask is very simple. Big bold letters telling you what it will do, good English description on the back. Everything was ok, but not too memorable. Once I opened the pack I smelled Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume-like scent. I was waiting for typical syrupy artificial honey fumes that you so often sniff from similar products. I was immediately happy the scent was light and fresh instead of suffocating honey smell.
The sheet of this mask is made from felt-like fabric. Very similar in quality to my Blithe Blue Zone Marine Mask that I absolutely love. The serum on this mask is very gel-like. It doesn’t drip anywhere and ensures mess-free application. The fit and adherence of the sheet were great. Fabric is well saturated with the transparant essence solution and managed to stay on my face through my cooking routine.
I kept the sheet on for full 20 minutes and noticed that it was just the right amount of time before edges started to dry out a bit. After the mask was removed I tapped the left essence into my skin and it reminded me of the ampoule consistency. Not watery, well absorbing, not sticky, not greasy but pleasantly light on the skin. I tried to put my BB cream over it and was instantly shocked how well is this mask acting as a base for my make-up. Next time I see this beauty in the store, I will definitely grab one more pack. My skin is radiant and plumpy, plus great make-up application afterwards that lasted me for an entire day! You don’t have to tell me twice ?
Pros:
+ Smells like green tea
+ Great at plumping skin
+ Paraben, sulfate and alcohol free formula
+ Contains hyaluronic acid
+ Very hydrating and at the same time calming for the skin
+ Great to use under your make-up
+ Ampoule-like essence that is not runny or tacky
Cons:
– Contains fragrance
– Simple packaging (Too simple?)
– Hard to find in EU shops
