Directions from the manufacturer:
After cleansing, take one pad and gently smooth over face with embossed side, avoiding eyes. Discard pad. Gently tap in remaining essence on your skin. Follow up with the rest of your skin care routine. Close the lid tightly to make sure the remaining pads stay fresh. Use once a day.

My experience:
NEOGEN Real Cica Pads are quite new skincare exfoliating pads from NEOGEN and are a very good deal for their buck for people with sensitive skin. Unlike other exfoliating pads that normally have more densely woven rough side, these are made of a soft cotton and both sides are gentle on the skin. Each pad is richly soaked in the solution containing mainly centella asiatica extract which is famous for calming and soothing skin.
On my skin these feel so gentle and hydrating. The solution is clear and has a light fresh green scent to it. The fragrance very faint and you have to really sniff otherwise you will thing there is no fragrance to them at all. These pads leave no finish on the skin and don’t require rinsing off. I simply swipe it over my skin after double cleansing and I am good to go to the next step of my skin care which is toning. I use these pads on my face, neck and décolleté.
Coming with 90 pads in a pack, it makes this product quite economic in use and cost-friendly which is important to me. I love all NEOGEN pads but as I’ve mentioned in other reviews some may not be suitable for sensitive skin. To me, this new addition is one of the must-haves for the coming summer. I do recommend these to anyone no matter what skin type you have. These pads are so gentle and effective at reducing skin redness that they may replace my favorite Azulene pads from PETITFEE.
Oh, one more thing. I’ve tried using these as a cooling/hydrating spot-treatment on irritated areas of my skin by slapping some pads on and leaving them on my face for 10 minutes. The effects were amazing! If you have stubborn redness that doesn’t want to go away, try this method instead of just wiping your skin with these. It worked for me so who knows, it may help you too ?
