My experience:
Oh boy where do I begin. I saw this newcomer on Stylekorean.com about a month ago and couldn’t shake off the idea of buying it “right here, right now”. I adore the Pyunkang Yul brand for what they hav achieved over the last few years. Growing a solid base of great eco-friendly products that to date have not disappointed me. I did try everything out from their skin care and have repurchased numerous amount of products recently to refill my fast depleting skin-care stash.
The Pyunkang Yul eye cream is something that had caught my eye immediately as they promote the single pouch packaging for this product. Why? In order to limit the amount of preservatives which is wonderful. A lot of people with sensitive skin are reacting to the preserving agents in the skin care and, very unfortunately, I am one of those people. Not many brands would take such a huge risk but I do believe that it is a very successful choice when it comes to skin-friendly skincare.
The Pyunkang Yul eye cream comes in 50 pouches of 1 ml each. One pouch is meant for 1 time use. To be honest the one time use thing is failing big time. 1 ml is way too huge amount for a single use on such small area. I do use one sachet for 3 days straight in my evening care. If your skin is very dry you would probably use one pouch twice in one day for both AM and PM application. The texture of this cream is wonderful. It is very thick, opaque white and feels almost buttery. Not in a cream butter way but more like a shea butter. There is no scent to the cream which is another great thing about it. Packed with plenty of nutritious and anti-aging ingredients this baby is crawling to my all-time favorites list at a light speed.
Having an oily skin I only use it in the evenings and it sinks into my skin within 5 minutes. It leaves a slight oily finish under my eyes so I would not recommend using it for AM routine if you still have mascara to apply. The chance of smudging increases with the amount of oiliness of the skin. If your skin is very dry, you will fall in love with it instantly as it would do what it promises- protect your under eye area from dehydration and premature ageing. When it comes to brightening and whitening, it does the job but the result is cumulative and seen after few weeks. I noticed that some of my freckles are nearly gone after 3 weeks use. To sum up in 2 words: Great stuff!
