My experience:
I don’t usually go for all organic brands when it comes to my hair because many items that I’ve tried in the past were not efficient at cleansing my dense hair. This particular shampoo is very unique to me because it barely lathers but at the same time it leaves my hair super clean and soft. When I dry my hair after shampooing it is lustrous and voluminous which is hard to achieve with my hair structure. I do get couple of fly-aways with the solo shampoo use but it it never a problem for me because I normally use the conditioner. And yes, for the purpose of testing the product out I did use it solo on my hair to se how effective it is on it’s own.
WHAMISA Organic Seeds Shampoo for Dry Scalp has a very mild vanilla-herbal kind of scent. It is barely noticeable on the hair after use and can be a good product for those who dislikes scented body/hair care. It is transparent and caramel colored liquid, almost like honey. The texture is somewhat runny. When it comes to the usage, I pump 2 pumps into my hands and that is enough for cleansing my hair before the first rinse. After I rinse everything out, I go for one more pump for thorough 2nd. cleansing round and that’s when shampoo starts foaming up a bit on my scalp. So total of 3 pumps leads me to the perfect hair day ? Or a week…
Not joking guys. Most of the times my hair can withstand a week going without shampooing (after I use the shampoo) if I don’t have a hard core HIIT training sessions throughout the week. In case I have time for more advanced exercise, my hair gets dirty by the 5th day or so. With my HG Macadamia shampoo the results are quite similar except that Macadamia doesn’t soften my hair as much as WHAMISA shampoo and I can not pull it off not to condition my hair after using it solo. My hair is a fizz-fest no matter what unless I tame it with some hair oil or serum afterwards.
Overall, WHAMISA Organic Seeds Shampoo for Dry Scalp turned out to be a very pleasant experience, leading me towards trying more of the Korean hair care products that I managed to deliberately neglect for so long. I’ve already ought a sample of shampoo for an oily scalp to see what is the difference with this version and will review it hopefully this month. For now, the version for dry scalp has left my hair looking healthy and shiny, keeps my scalp oil-free for about a week and can be used solo without the conditioner. Impressive and intriguing and definitely worth investing in a sample if you don’t want to commit to the full-size bottle.
